Barbara Pogacnik is spending a month’s residency during March 2010 at the National Writers’ Centre in Llanystumdwy, Gwynedd. At a public event on Tuesday 9 March 2010, she will talk about her work with poet Damian Walford Davies from Aberystwyth. Te event will be held at 8.00pm at Ynyswen, Borth, and a limited number of tickets are available to buy through post@walesliterature.org. Local chef Rhodri Edwards will be preparing food for the occasion and a selection of short films showcasing WLE Bookshelf writers will be shown. Barbara Pogacnik’s residency has been organised through Translators’ House Wales and the HALMA network, and further details are available in our news pages.
