Francesca Rhydderch

Francesca Rhydderch (1969-) studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge. She began her editorial career with the cultural magazine Planet: The Welsh Internationalist before being appointed Commissioning Editor for Wales's largest publishing house, Gomer Press, with responsibility for the press's English-language titles for adults. She is currently Editor of the literary quarterly, New Welsh Review, and is working on her first novel. Her short story, The Beachcombers is published in Czech translation in a new anthology of short stories by women writers from Wales, Kocky na drazbe (Cats at an Auction) to be launched at the Prague Book Fair 2004 by the Prague publisher, One Woman Press.  For more information about New Welsh Review visit here
